Dumper semi-trailer – model SA-28

The SA-28 semi-trailer is available in two- and three-axle configurations.
It is intended for transporting materials such as sand, gravel, rubble, stones, rocks, and aggregates.

The “half-pipe” type body is made from wear-resistant steel (HB 450 or HB 500), providing exceptional durability while maintaining an optimized tare weight, which directly contributes to increased payload capacity.

Gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR):

  • 38 tonnes (two-axle version)
  • 45 tonnes (three-axle version)

The semi-trailer is designed for operation with three-axle tractor units.



Three-axle version – standard equipment

The more commonly used three-axle version includes:

  • 2-inch kingpin (optionally replaceable with a 3.5-inch kingpin),
  • Pneumatic suspension,
  • SAF axles,
  • Single wheels, size 385/65 R22.5 with steel or aluminum rims,
  • Wabco braking system with disc brakes,
  • PVC fenders,
  • Hydraulic tipping system with front-mounted NUMMI PRO cylinder, optimized for faster tipping cycles,
  • Sliding rear axle bogie, allowing optimal weight distribution on the tractor unit when loaded (and improved maneuverability when retracted during empty operation).



Two-axle version – standard equipment

The two-axle version includes:

  • Twin wheels, size 295/80 R22.5 with steel or aluminum rims,
  • Mechanical steering system (Tridec) on the second axle, providing excellent maneuverability.



Popular optional equipment:

  • Aluminum rims,
  • Underbody vibrator.



Specialist variants:

  • Asphalt transport version – equipped with a thermally insulated “half-pipe” type body, designed specifically for hot asphalt applications.
  • Heavy-duty version – A reinforced three-axle trailer with a GVWR of 64 tonnes, built for the most demanding applications, such as road construction in mountainous areas or tunnel excavation in rocky terrain.
